Happy New Year

I'll repeat that for those of you on drugs:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Despite all my best intentions, I didn't make it out to any party at all. Inertia won. *sigh* So instead I/we had a stereotypical Levy Haskell Family New Year's Celebration: the three of us sitting quietly at home reading, with some of us snoozing off before the actual turn of the year came around.

For me it was spending to much time around people on 30 Dec. I just used up all my sociability. *sigh* That sucks because it's vicious and self defeating in it's effects.

Yes, it does suck. Hope you're over it by now.

Happy New Year!
Say it with a pig and vodka!

Long live to Estonian vodka and Chinese astrology! (the card makers were surely bit high themselves, as they wish of "Good, happy, rich with luck New Year!" Then again, the card is from nineteen thirties and the decade ended with lot of nastiness for not only Estonians ...)

Anyway, let the year of pig (it means another New Year to celebrate, too!) bring you the good craziness only!

Re: Happy New Year!
Long live indeed! And long live pigs! Most of all, long live you and yours in health and happiness!!

They have parties?

Who knew.
Fred A Levy Haskell: Fredcritter eyes onlyfredcritter on January 4th, 2007 09:34 am (UTC)
I'd heard rumors . . .
kip_wkip_w on January 4th, 2007 01:26 pm (UTC)
I'm gradually forgetting that there are parties that don't involve small children and birthdays.

:)

*hug*

On the other hand, you spent family time together, and at least some of you are well-rested this morning.

Happy new year!
Fred A Levy Haskell: Fredcritter eyes onlyfredcritter on January 4th, 2007 09:37 am (UTC)
*hug* indeed, oh, most huggable one.

Yes. Quality family time, otherwise known as "parallel play." Isn't that what sitting/laying around together, each reading their own book, is? But we do that. And we love us for it. Hoist the Levy Haskell banner! (as soon as I'm done with this page)

And a most happy new year to you, too, Mary. See you in a couple of weeks?
Marybraider on January 4th, 2007 01:02 pm (UTC)
Don't think I'll make it to ConFusion. Now, I've been wrong about this before, but I'm not planning on it, and I actually want some free weekends at home this year. More time to play music...

Oh *sigh*. Is anybody going to be there? Or will it be just me?

Happy New Year to you and yours!

/big hugs!
Fred A Levy Haskell: Fredcritter eyes onlyfredcritter on January 4th, 2007 09:39 am (UTC)
And most certainly to you and yours as well.

And yes of course hugs. Happy hugs.

Many good wishes for your New Year! You were missed last night.
Fred A Levy Haskell: Fredcritter eyes onlyfredcritter on January 4th, 2007 09:42 am (UTC)
Thank you! Good wishes (and a baby boy on the outside soonest!) for your New Year as well!

Thanks. I very, very much missed all of you also. Very much. Y'all don't even know.

Heh. I think I missed me, too. I know I left me somewhere around here, but I just can't seem to find me. Maybe I left me in my other jeans . . .
