Teresa Nielsen Hayden

I was doing a search in Amazon.com books the other day and was intrigued to discover that our friend Teresa Nielsen Hayden apparently has a new collaborator:

Bronte & Nielsen Hayden

It's a Tor edition that Teresa wrote the intro to, years ago.

I've been listed by Amazon as a collaborator on books I merely edited. They have persistent problems of this sort in their database.

Yup. I assumed something like that when I saw it and had my assumption confirmed when I clicked to open the actual entry in a new tab. I nevertheless found it amusing. I guess I'm just like that.

Oh, it's certainly amusing.

I read Teresa your entry. She said "I just corrected her grammar a little."

Yesterday I was going into the West Springfield library, and I paused on the way in to look at the dumpster, which is sometimes full of books. This time I was mildly relieved to see it was just full of leaves (unless they were hiding books under the leaves, of course), but there was one book on the ground next to it. I had to crane to see what it was. Wuthering Heights.

Not that edition, though.

Y'know, I saw Wuthering Heights in the Kids' section of the bookstore. Admittedly, this was the section for older kids, but...ye gads!
