Middle School Event

This evening at Gavi's school they're having a middle school dance/social for the students, combined with a social for the parents in a different wing of the same building (the middle and upper school share a building, so they can have both events there but still have some separation). I was seriously considering going and even set my alarm clock and got up early. I figured it might be nice to see some of the other parents. Then I realized that one or more of them might actually try to talk to me or something, so I decided it would be best if I stayed home. Susan and Gavi went.

Speaking as another "likes home and family so much, he sometimes tries not to go out" person who also has a case of "when people ask me what I think, I have to remember to turn on the 'don't scare the nice people' filter"... the best cure for sociophobia is going out and talking to people.

In MY experience at least you're a helluva personable guy.
