"It looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue"

Celexa, the anti-depressant I'd been taking for the last 5 years or so seemed to be losing its efficacy, so about a month ago my meds doctor and I decided to try something else. I've now tapered off of it completely and am partway toward finding out what sort of dose I need of the new one. Unfortunately, it seems that the Celexa was still making some difference, and it doesn't seem the new one is helping much yet. *sigh* I remember, all too well, this state of feeling exhausted and unmotivated most of the time. Ah well. This, too, shall pass....

Augh. I know that all too well (currently in an, um, very very down period myself; doc just upped my dosage and I hope it helps).

Hey-- if the worst you can say about the new one is that "it isn't helping much yet," things could be worse! It's not actively making you feel worse. Or, at least, I hope not. (Been there, done that too).

Boy, I'm really looking on the bright side, aren't I? D'oh.

Hang in there. Here's hoping you get the right med and the right dosage and that it kicks in ASAP.
