I love "sponsored links"

I just pointed my browser at Dictionary.com and looked up the word "engram" with the following result (among others):

en·gram n. A physical alteration thought to occur in living neural tissue in response to stimuli, posited as an explanation for memory. Also called neurogram.

(Please note the phrase "thought to occur" and the word "posited".)

Then, just out of curiousity, I clicked on their helpful link: Get the Most Popular Sites for "engram". In the search results for that I found:

Sponsored Links:

Engram.
Great Engram deals! Your price, your way - that's eBay.
www.eBay.com

Um … thanks, eBay, but maybe not today…

I know eBay have this thing about selling everything under the sun but I still think somebody should explain to them that some items have so little appeal as to rate in the negatives.

If you Google your own name, you may well find that eBay is offering deals on you, too. This seems to be an automatic ad, so that eBay offers whatever you're looking for. I've seen some weird stuff.

Do you think eBay just bought every noun?
