I was amused by this sentence

I've probably just lead a sheltered life or something, but I found this sentence in a book I'm currently reading to be quite amusing:

The greatest Romantic expositor of complex passion through mammary exposure was undoubtedly Delacroix.

You sure it shouldn't be Hugh Hefner?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think Hef is classified as post-Modern....

Not Janet Jackson?

Janet Jackson? Hmmmmm. I'm not sure. However, somewhat relevant to Ms. Jackson's … moment in the sun, I give you this quotation from the same book: "Ever since the Greek Amazon and the Christian Virgin … images of women exposing one breast have been linked with ideas of self-forgetful female zeal—heroism, devotion, sacrifice." It seems almost relevant. I guess. Maybe. Sort of.
