I voted...
...since we seem to be keeping track. My ballot was #212 into the vote-counting machine in our precinct at around 9am. There was no line but there were quite a few people in the process of filling out ballots. I noticed there is a contested seat in the Minnesota Supreme Court--I was perfectly happy to cast my vote to re-elect Allan Page. He's a good man. And, yes, I voted the Democratic ticket. I suspect that's not a surprise to anyone reading this....

Alan Page is not only a good man, but also a good jurist. IMHO, he deserves your vote on all counts.

And he was one heckuva football player! Oh, wait, that's not really a reason to vote for him. :)

Well, no, but I reckon there've been people voted into office for even less good reason....

I guess I was conflating the two—thanks for the clarification.

The DFL is asking people to help them track turnout by reporting their voter number and time of voting at vote.dfl.org. That might be one reason people are paying attention.

Hmmm. I'm not sure how important it is to keep track in my neighborhood. Based on the prevailing signage, I think perhaps Cedar Avenue should be renamed "Kerry Edwards Avenue"; I suspect there are areas in the state and country where vote fraud and/or tampering would be easier and more productive than here; and, despite what they say about our "swinging state" … erm … "swing state" status, I will be shocked—shocked I tell you—if Minnesota doesn't go D for Prez this time. However, being always ready to do my bit as long as it doesn't take too much effort, I dutifully reported my location, time, and numbers to the web site you cite.
