The Moon  

I sincerely hope you had a chance to look at the moon last night … and that it was as beautiful where you are as it was where I am.

Possibly even better. It was hanging in front of me as I walked in to work just before 6pm and some smoke haze had turned it a marvellous shade of pale orange that made the markings on its surface much clearer than usual. They looked more like a face than any other occasion I can remember.

We had a full eclipse of the moon last night. It started at 9:30 pm. It was an amazing sight to behold. i am always in awe of the things in the heavens.
