I Have A Job!

A real, on-the-payroll, with benefits job. Very exciting. Especially the benefits part — we've been without them for a while now.

I'm working for Merrill Communications. It's reasonably interesting and satisfying work, with a very nice crew of co-workers. I'm working third shift (nominally 11pm to 7am, although I'm currently going in around 9 and leaving around 6), which has its disadvantages, but on the whole it's working out fairly well. I'm hoping to eventually shift my workdays to Sunday through Thursday (instead of the Monday through Friday I'm currently working), but that's a minor thing.

More later, no doubt…
