You know Fred, in the words of the immortal Warren Zevon, "You can sleep when you're dead!"

My kids got me into this, and now sanity may get me out. I ran across the Jon Singer Fan Club, and I had to look....(don't go near the light....oh shit.)

Hope you are well, it's a very small world. Now, I must sleep.

Very small world indeed. Even here in the technical vastness of the future.

One could look at it a number of ways. Perhaps those of us who are fated to be in touch will somehow find themselves in touch. Or, more likely, those of us with similar interests and styles will tend to gravitate to similar spaces and bump into each other there.

Anyway, Hi! Good to hear from you. Business ever send you this way these days? It'd be lovely to see you again. (Do you know/remember Susan (nee) Levy? Did you know that we're now Susan & Fred Levy Haskell? Or that our daughter, Gavriella, is now 11 (!) years old?)

How are you?

Re: well,well, well
Hmm, this is getting very interesting as they used to say on laugh-in! I have heard from Mister Singer also; although I have periodically heard from him over the years, it was nice to be in touch.

No, I did not know Susan Levy, but I am sure she is wonderful and I am very glad that you found someone. Derek and I will be married, gulp, 25 years this July and it's still great. I can't believe how young we were....seems like yesterday. We have two daughters, the oldest just turned 21 last week and graduated from college last year and is off to France to work for the French Ministry and then go to grad school...she's done us proud. The youngest is in 8th grade, and also doing well.

Derek is still in the film industry, and still as crazy and creative as ever. California has been good to us, but who knows; I may be getting an overseas assignment. My job practically never takes me to the Midwest anymore; I tend to travel the West and occasionally to the East Coast. But, perhaps one day I shall be able to come back, I always like MplStpl....or Minehaha?
