I guess it's been rather a while since I've posted a photo, eh?

I rather like this one. I hope you like it too.

It looked a little different when it was in Da Show, but I got to experimenting with filters…

Hurrah for such an Image of America photo!
The only BAD thing about it being that it is not in my actual mailbox as a traditional postcard.

As, being currently obsessed with Postcrossing (http://www.postcrossing.com/), I tend to think in postcards.

And this image fits right in, as I had been listening to Roger Miller singing about king of the road recently for some reason.

Glad you like it. I, too, was thinking it looked quite a bit like a postcard.

Not the skyline we have today at all.

Quite so. 'Tis a bittersweet tapestry of … um … a nostalgic fantasy of a simpler, less-hurried time…

Oh yeah, and they took away the RR tracks too. Sic transit …

Yeah, I was confused because the 2 stone pillars at the edge of the bridge looked really, really familiar! Nice, really nice. Thanks for posting!

Thank you Jeff! You're most welcome.

Do you think it would work to use a photo like this as the background for a lawn sign? And would you be willing to let me use one of the photos you have taken?

I honestly don't know whether it would work as a background. However, I'd have no trouble at all granting you permission to use any photo of mine you'd like.
