A thousand words, give or take a few

I've always loved this photo.

I think I like the presentation too but I'm not entirely sure. Maybe I'll know in six months or so, when I've got a little distance on it.

I don't see what is not to like. For soon reason I would have liked it as a mirror image so the focal point is on the left and not the right. That is not a criticism but more a quirk of how my brain is filtering the image. It makes me wonder why I feel/think/observe that way. Hmmm. Thanks for the picutre and the new thought.

After a moments reflection I think I may have the answer. My mind was processing this as a road image. I drive on the right hand side of the road and not the left hand side. I would need to change sides before the traffic from the other direction meets me. With the railing in the way I cannot mentally get back in my proper lane. The fact that it is water in the picture was irrelevant to my mind.

Or maybe I am just used to things having a left hand focus.

Also, sorry for the typos and errors. I don't seem to be the kind who should think and type at the same time.
