Changing the subject for a moment....

… to, you know, something calm. Peaceful. Quiet. Except for the chirrups and squeaks and whistles and rustles and dripping and stuff…

Yuppers. :) And a bit mossy and slightly moldy as well, with a pinch of salt breeze thrown in for spice.

Lovely, lovely! My favorite kind of forest. I'm guessing it's from the Pacific Northwest, though I've encountered similar versions in Minnesota's own north country. Wherever it is, you're right; it's peaceful.

Thank you, kind sir. Yes, it is a pretty spiff & teriff kinda forest.

Good guess—got it first crack out of the box—the photo was indeed taken in the Specific Northwest (called that so as to distinguish it from the Great Northwest—you know, where we live).

I was going to go on about about that spot being in the temparate rainforest that extends along the west coast of North America from Oregon to Alaska, and other related things, but my mind just leaked out of my ears. Perhaps later.

Anyway, thanks. I'm glad you liked it.
