Video/Computer Techie Question

Can one of you computer-savvy techie folks out there tell me how I can save a copy of the video at Jon Stewart, Comedy Central: Sarah Palin Gender Card so I can keep it forever and ever and can watch it whenever I want?

If you use Firefox as your web browser, I believe that this add-on will help. It seems to allow downloading/capturing online videos.

Thanks for the information. However, it only works for a selected set of websites, of which Comedy Central is not one. Unless of course I'm using it wrong or misreading something, but I suspect not.

I guess I just have to keep trying.

Isn't it on YouTube?

Comedy Central
Is kinda cranky about UTube. Things go up and then things come down. Real fast. It is available via Comedy Central. Then there's this other thing...

Re: Comedy Central

Be careful about how you render "YouTube": the server at UTube, a pipe- and tube-mill manufacturing company, crashed so frequently due to over-access by people trying to log into YouTube that in desperation they wound up selling their URL and changing to another.

I kid you not.

Re: Got it

Heyyyyyyy! You rock, good buddy! Thanks! (I hope you enjoyed it whilst in the process of grabbing it.) I do find it sad that true journalism these days is apparently confined to the Comedy Channel. On the other hand, since TV "News" has become NEntertainmentWS, I suppose the labels are becoming meaningless.

Re: Got it

In 2004 at Madison Square Garden during the Republican convention, the advertising banner on the outside of the building for "Fox News" was placed immediately next to the banner for The Daily Show, which had below the title the follow-on phrase "The World Leader in Fake News!"

Fox reportedly was Not Happy and tried without success to get Garden management to change the banner placement or take down the Daily Show banner.
