Tired again tonight

Just got home from taking Gavi to her class at the schul. A bit tired. And still shellshocked from the layoffs at work today—fortunately I still have a job, but some number of my friends, both here in the Twin Cities and in other cities, no longer do. There is no joy in Mudville tonight.

So rather than being able to write more and engaging stuff, I give you the photo that I processed yesterday. Need I say I like it? Need I say, "click on it to see a larger version"? Need I say more?

Shellshocked -- yeah, that's one way of putting it. I just... I don't know. I'm not happy. Very upset to see Paul go. Thank goodness I still have you!

And I you. And we'll always have Paris…

Although Wednesday is normally my night off, after reading your messages I decided to go in and find out what was going on rather than sit home all night worrying. (It wasn't so much that I was really concerned about losing my job (arrogance?), but rather that I wanted to know where everyone else stood.)

I'm sad about my buddy Casey going, although I can't say that I'm completely surprised considering his mad skills when it comes to avoiding work.

The news about Paul, on the other hand, is very upsetting.

I'm still not sure of who all has gone...

Big hugs to both of you.

Sympathies on the work situation; it's always hard to see people go but especially so when it's not their choice.

This photo is interesting in comparison to the previous one from this session. Where that gave me a feeling of dancing, this one gives an impression of more robotic movement. Not sure why and I wonder if your intro re: work influenced my perception.
