A Job!

It's just a temp job, through the 15th, but still.... It feels kind of funny -- I've done some lucrative subcontracting from time to time in the past few years (thank you Geri!), but this is the first "timeclock" job I've had in almost 11 years. Feels kind of odd, it does. But good. I think I could get used to it.

I found out about it from jbru -- thanks, guy! I like the environment, and the work doesn't look totally dull. It is third shift, so I'm off in under an hour.

More, as they say, later....

Excellent. It's good to give the brain a different kind of workout occasionally.

Woo hoo! Way to go, Fred. Bet the work-shift skills will still be there, like the proverbial bicycle riding.

Gadzooks. Third shift sounds like not a whole lot of fun. I'm curious how it goes.

Actually, although it's a bit of an adjustment to make, it actually suits my temperament better than early morning stuff. Although I must admit, I prefer doing my own work in the wee small hours rather than somebody else's. It's so nice and quite and peaceful.

Ericka is feeling much better and so I'll probably actually see you Wednesday night! And we're still on for breakfast on Thursday after work, yes?
