Anniversary party photos

Image hosting by ImageEvent—join today!

I've posted my colour shots from B&K's 10th Anniversary party last Saturday evening. There's still a roll of black & white images I need to scan. I'm a bit surprised at just how many of these photos are really lousy. *sigh* I will probably dump all but a small handful at some point, but I figured I'd just toss them up for now and let y'all take a peek at them. (The above photo is one of the few I'm not unhappy with, btw.)

Note: As usual, the photos are copyright, but you may download and/or print for your personal, non-commercial use as long as you include the credit/copyright notice. (I gotta figure out how to do that Creative Commons thing so I don't have to write this out every time…)

Thus proving you're a way smart guy—at least, smarter than I. I went to the Creative Commons site and went rather cross-eyed trying to figure out the appropriate combination of options that I want. I keep intending to look again some time when I'm feeling alert and awake.

Thanks for posting them, I love being able to see various people's views of the same event.

You're welcome. And thanks for posting yours, which are head and shoulders better than mine.

Thanks for posting your pics. I don't usually like photos of myself, this is one of the nicest I've seen, thank you.

I like the photo of the stacks of chairs.

DD-B did posted some nice pics, too.

I'm glad you like it. As I mentioned, it's one of the few I kind of like my own self. Stack of chairs? I liked it when I took it, but I wish I'd managed to not get the bit of picture frame in on the right.

Yeah, dd_b's photos of the event(s) are much nicer than mine.

I am liking numbers 50 and 51, of your daughter looking very proper. I also really like the composition of 13 and 14, showing the tattoos of alisgrey and whomever she is talking to but, alas, Alis looks quite distressed in those. And your image above is quite nice as well. I'll look forward to your b/w shots!

Gavi's posture frequently startles me. It doesn't even seem to be a conscious thing with her—it's just how she tends to sit.

Oh, that's alisgrey! I recognize her and I recognize her handle, but I hadn't yet put the two together. Silly me. In any case, she's talking to the couple shown in 15. I don't know their names either…

Thanks, yeah, the photo of lakeboy_55 is one of the few non-clunkers in the bunch. IMHO, of course.

I'm kind of afraid to scan the B&Ws 'cause the scanner sometimes scratches strip film. Gotta upgrade soon.

We have a whole stack of albums of photos that our friends took at our wedding and I was hoping to have lots of pictures from this party as well, but I haven't a clue how to print from that web site, let alone adding your copyright notice to each picture.

Thanks for taking them, though. I id enjoy looking at them.

Well, hmmm. If there really are some there you'd like, there's an "order prints & products" clickie at the top of the album page(s); clicking on that should get you to a place where it's not too hard to figure out. For that matter, if you click on the boxes of the ones you like first, they'll get "carried" to the order form. Or perhaps somebody (like me) could help you with the process some time. As far as appending a copyright notice goes, if you're going to put them in your personal album, don't sweat it. You have my permission to make prints for that purpose. But, then again, I'd be surprised if there are (m)any you like…
