Concerning Astronauts and "Diapers"

Okay, this has now come up in enough of my friends’ posts that I guess I need to post here on my top level this link to John Scalzi’s blog: The Driving 900 Miles In A Diaper Thing Is Not As Crazy As It Sounds.

In the justly famous words of Eeyore: “That Accounts for a Good Deal, It Explains Everything. No Wonder.”

Yeah, so astronauts wear them in space. I didn't really think they were chosen for their freakish bladders. It's all part of their training. Should we have found it unworthy of comment if she had been wearing a silver suit with a helmet and air tank the whole way too?

The point of my story (in response to which you posted a link to Scalzi) was that Colbert blew the gaff on my years-old idea of diapers for busy executives who can't take time away from their dreadfully important business. All that money, down the... well, gone.
